DMCA Copyright Policy
Last updated: April 19, 2026
Atlas is published by Raiser Software Inc. We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices of claimed copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"). This page explains how to submit a notice, how to submit a counter-notice if your content was removed in error, and our policy on repeat infringers.
Designated Copyright Agent
Send DMCA notices and counter-notices to:
Bryan Shetty — Designated Copyright Agent
Raiser Software Inc.

Our agent is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office under registration number DMCA-1071698. Email is the preferred submission channel; we aim to acknowledge valid notices within two business days.
How to Submit a Takedown Notice
To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the owner of the copyright (or a person authorised to act on their behalf).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works).
- Identification of the material in Atlas that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it — for example, a trip ID, a chat message link, or a description of the attachment and the trip it appears in.
- Your full contact information: mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner.
Notices missing any of these elements may be rejected without action.

Counter-Notification
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was mistaken or mis-identified, you may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or mis-identification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, the judicial district in which Raiser Software may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward a copy to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the removed content.
Repeat Infringer Policy
An Atlas account that accrues three (3) valid, unresolved DMCA notices will be suspended. A subsequent valid notice against a suspended account will result in permanent termination. We may also terminate accounts earlier if the circumstances warrant — for example, in the case of egregious or commercial-scale infringement.
Misuse of the DMCA Process
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents in a takedown notice that material is infringing — or in a counter-notice that material was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Submit a notice only for material you are authorised to protect.
